Happy Birthday Sugar!......and snow

Today is my mom's birthday! We love you sugar!
I mangaged to get Mitchell looking out at the snow on the deck Sunday. By the time we actually got him dressed it was a melty mess, so I guess these will have to do for his first snow. He is army crawling all over the place these days. Soon Mommy and Daddy will not be able to sit still.

Baby You Can Drive My Car and RSV

Last week Mitchell was feeling great! On Thursday night we played around in the bathtub and put Mohawks in his hair. On Friday I took him to see Pop (my Dad) at work. Mitchell had a wonderful time playing on the showroom floor and ‘driving’ the cars. "Little Red Corvet"
On Saturday he was a little fussy but still okay. By Sunday he had an all out barking cough and sounded terrible. First thing Monday we went to the doctor’s office only to be diagnosed with RSV. Bless the sweet baby’s heart. He is such a trooper. We have been doing breathing treatments around the clock, every four hours. We have staying out of the hospital so far and he has slept well the past two nights. May I remind you that we have to be out of our house tomorrow! All I can say is “Thank the Lord above for both sets of grandparents and aunts.” Hopefully my next post will be about a sweet healthy boy who is moved in to his new house!

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Soemthing Blue

Life around our house has been crazy these days so my posts have been few and far between. This weekend Jon Paul and I went to Hattiesburg for an engagement party for Daniel Ross and Haley Stiglets. They are getting married in April and we are so excited for them! So, hence the wedding reference in the post title.

As for something old and something new…Jon Paul and I have sold our house and bought another one! It is 2 doors down from my parents and we are super excited. (Yes, I said super and yes, I said 2 doors down from my parents. It was Jon Paul’s idea. What can I say, I am a homebody and love it!) We are set to close on both houses on February 20. Here is the quick rundown. We decided to just put a sign in our yard and see what would happen on MLK day. Three days later on Thursday we got an offer! So…the packing begins. As for the borrowed…anyone have a trailer or a couple of hands we could borrowJ.

And for the BLUE….Mitchell turns 7 months today! He is such a cutie! Mommy and Daddy had a hard time leaving him in a different town this weekend! We were so excited to pick him up on Sunday. Here are a few updated pictures of him playing in the BLUE tug boat his cousins sent to him.

Christmas Recap

Mitchell had a wonderful first Christmas. He LOVES his exersaucer and basketball goal from Santa! He also had fun playing with the wrapping paper and bows. All the excitment of the day pooped the sweet boy out and he fell asleep sitting straight up with wrapping paper and teething ring in hand. In other news...Mitchell is sitting up. He cannot get into position himself (although he tries really hard) but once there, he can sit up and play.

Don't I look so precious in my cool hat!

Happy HO HO HO to you!

We have had a busy December! Mitchell turned 5 months, met Santa, was baptized, went to Carthage for the second time, and got another tooth!
