It's a Girl!

We found out at the very beginning of September that we are expecting Baby Rhea #2 in April/May 2012.  On December 7 we found out it is a girl.  Mitchell is thrilled about a baby sister and has been so sweet.  We went to the doctor during the day and had them seal the results in an envelope.  We picked Mitchell up and took him to eat at The Grill where we all opened the envelope together.  We were all shocked and excited!  Mitchell called Happy, Pappy, and Uncle Andy to let them know.  I think they were a little shocked too.  We then went to Pop and Susu's to tell Pop, Susu, Aunt Amy, Aunt Allie, and Uncle Louis.  He ran in with a handfull of pink balloons.  (We had blue balloons on standby that we let go outside.)  We also enjoyed some yummy cupcakes in celebration!

Elizabeth Jane Rhea "Liza" is due April 30/May 1.
We can't wait to meet her.

Thanksgiving Program

Mitchell's class was the cutest group of pilgrims.  They sang "Thanksgiving Day is a Happy Day Where We Say Thank You God," "When I go Hunting," and "God is So Good."  They were precious.  Happy, Pappy, Pop, SuSu, Aunt Amy, Uncle Louis, and Field all came to see him sing.  Aunt Allie had to work but met us for dinner afterward.

Halloween 2011

Mitchell as Woody from "SToy Story."

Trunk or Treat the church was so much fun.  We had a trunk with our Sunday School class.  Mitchell got tired and decided to sit in the back and check out his goodies.
Carving a Pirate Pumpkin with Pop.

 Getting ready to trick-or-treat.

Stan Whittington came over for a minute in his adorable lion costume.
 Trick-or-treating!

Pumpkin Patch

Mitchell's class also took a field trip to Pumpkin Patch Farms at the beginning of October.
Bouncing!

Petting Zoo!  Lots of hand sanitizer needed.  Our as Mitchell says, "hanatizer."

 Lunch time!  We are hungry!
Pumpkin Pickin' Time!  Which one should I choose...
This one!
Riding the train with Mrs. Lauren!

Fire Station #1 Field Trip

Mitchell had a great first semester of 3-year-old preschool.  His class took a field trip to Fire Station #1 back in September and have a great time.  The walked from the church.  It was a beautiful day. Mitchell was little scared of the fireman who was all dressed up.  He was also making sure they knew there was no fire at our house.  Fireman Chad helped calm his fears.

New Year & Catching Up!

Happy 2012!  For the next couple of days I will be updating the blog on the end of our 2011.  It may be a little crazy because I am going backwards but I am basically using this as a scrapbook for my children.  So, for all of my readers out there (ha!), check back soon for updates on the Rhea clan!

The Dentist, School, and Are You Ready for Some Football!

Things are in full "swing!"  We visited Waverly a few time during August and on Lavor Day Weekend.  Jon Paul (and Mitchell) got some good golf playing time before football season began.
We took an early trip to  Scott Field on a Maroon Friday in August.

We cheered on the Golden Wave in their home opener!  So proad of his jersey!

We had friends over to watch the MSU/Memphis game.  We rented a GIANT screen and blew in up in our backyard.  Jon Paul tweeted this picture and got a retweet from Erin Andrews.  He was pumped to say the very least.

Mitchell started 3-year-old preschool and LOVES it!  He wants to go everyday!

In other news, a couple of months back I started a business with Arbonne International (in addition to my job at FUMC.)  It is a great company that I am proud to be apart of.  Vist www.arbonne.com and see what great products we offer and let me know if I can help you in purchasing.
