Mitchell's 1st Birthday! (Warning: Annoying amounts of Pictures)

Mitchell turned 1 on July 9! We started the day off with a trip to get his hands and feet printed in clay at Midnite Pottery. Then we headed to McDonald's so Mitchell could have his first happy meal. He loved it! Chicken nuggets and french fries...who wouldn't.

Sugar bought me a 'dob' and a ball at Toys R US. These are his two favorite thing....dogs and balls...He says those two words over and over again.

After a long afternoon nap....

I got to eat my first PIZZA at Pop and Sugar's house.Then I got to eat a cupcake! Yummy! I love it when people sing to me.What is this icing stuff?This is fun

At 8:58 p.m. we took a family shot. That was when he was exaclty 1 year old. He was NOT HAPPY and so ready for bed at this point. Kind of like his Mommy felt that exact time last year. We are holding up my sister's iphone with the time showing.

Poor baby had too much party.)

4th of July and Birthday Week

This week is Mitchell's "Birthday week!'" He will be one on Thursday and we cannot believe it! He is such a big boy! He is saying "Dab" which means "Dog" and "Dall" which means "Ball." Too cute! He thinks that the cantalopes and watermellons at the grocery store are balls and anything with 4 legs is a dog. We are having his party on Saturday so look for updates on the big shindig!

This weekend we also had fun at Old Waverly celebrating the 4th. Both grandparents watched Mama and Daddy sweat as they pulled Mitchell in the parade. He also loved the tea cakes that Here are some pictures of him at the parade and a few more ADORABLE (she says immodestly) recent pics.
